Monday: They Cage the Animals at Night unit test! This is a change from last week's plan. An additional reading day was given.
Tuesday: They Cage the Animals at Night unit test continued, Vocabulary Lesson #4 assigned, due Friday
Wednesday: Introduction to the short story unit, "The Wise Old Woman"
Thursday: Retelling "The Wise Old Woman" short story assignment
Friday: Vocabulary Lesson #3 due, quiz, Reader's Workshop
Regular Seventh Grade:
Monday: Finish typing Personal Narrative short story, due by end of the hour, Vocabulary Lesson #6 assigned
Tuesday: Root Words packet, class work time
Wednesday: Root Words packet, class work time
Thursday: Introduction to Freak the Mighty novel, Chapters 1-3 assigned class study guides will be online next week!
Friday: Freak the Mighty Chapters 4-6 assigned
Enriched Seventh Grade:
Monday: The Mayhem Poets workshop
Tuesday: Due to more than half the class gone on a field trip, today will be a catch-up/independent work day
Wednesday: The Clay Marble, discuss Chapters 6-12Personal Narrative writing due today
Thursday: The Clay Marble, Chapters 13-Epilogue Novel Notes assigned
Friday: The Clay Marble, and/or Reader's Workshop day
